I met with several contractors for my bathroom remodel. I chose Kevin because of his good attitude, he listened to me and my ideas without “mansplaining” to me ( an issue I had with some of the others). He was also the most reasonably priced. He’s a fantastic communicator, always responded to my texts right away. He was very punctual and respectful, as were any of the workers he brought with him. The project did take longer than anticipated, that was really the only downside. But I’m happy with my bathroom, his tile work on the floor and shower, especially. In 2021, I decided it was time to update our ensuite bathroom. I called Kevin Chapman of Chapman Surfaces & Remodeling. After discussion, I chose him for the job. Once materials were selected and plans made, the work began. Because my husband and I were seniors, we decided on a curb free shower to avoid tripping hazards along with grab bars on the shower walls. Large rectangular wall tiles were chosen for the shower and the floors to have fewer grout lines for easier cleaning. An ADA compliant toilet was chosen and of course a new vanity. The remodel was everything I hoped for and more, Kevin was hard working and conscientious about doing good work. Since then, I have had him do smaller jobs as well such as adding railings to my garage stairs and my back porch stairway. One of the more challenging jobs was getting my textured ceilings brought into the modern age by covering them with drywall. I don’t miss the texture. Along with that a new sliding door was put on my hallway bathtub and a ceiling fan was replaced. New chandeliers were also put in my kitchen and my dining room. Last week, I called Kevin to remove the ancient TV antenna on my roof, along with removing my old clothes line poles in my yard which were no longer used.
